Registeel is a strong monster in PvP league, it doesn’t matter much in raids. Trainers are currently debating that the Crypto status for Registeel in Battle League may even be a drawback due to the reduced defense (via reddit).
So if you still want to get your hands on Crypto Mewtu, you need to do it fast – because the deadline is February 1st. However, this is not so easy.
How do you get Crypto Mewtwo now? In theory, you just have to beat the Rocket Boss Defeat Giovanni, you can find the correct counters here. Then you need to go in search of the boss.
However, certain prerequisites are required to be able to meet the boss at all.
- Or you still have the Super Rocket Radar in the item bag that you can use to track him.
- Or you still have a special research left that gives Super Rocket Radar as a reward.
However, if you’ve already completed all of Rocket’s relevant special research and no longer have the Super Rocket Radar in your item bag, there’s no way to find Giovanni in time anymore.
The next radar survey should come on February 1st.
But if you still meet one of the requirements, then you have just under a week to secure your Crypto Mewtwo.
